And if you don’t like it, then don’t do it again! But at least you tried it and now you know, because knowing is the most important thing in the world. I’m not saying do anything super crazy like dying your hair hot pink and going to a rave (if that’s not your thing of course), I’m just saying step a little out of your comfort box and see how that makes you feel.
I am so glad I did because this turned out to be such an amazing book: it had you laughing because of silly things the friends would do, on the tip of. One of my friends told me about this book so I decided to give it a try and read it. I am asking you, my wonderful readers, to go out and try something new. The book Just Friends was one I really enjoyed reading. Sure, I wasn’t chosen for a position at a firm that I was dreaming about for months, I have fallen in and out of love in my past, but I can honestly say that I am happy where I am today because I tried. But the second I put myself out there, I immediately felt better about how I was living. So, if you read this quote and think, “wow, I really don’t ask questions that I am afraid to ask,” or, “I really wish that I was able to do that,” then go out there and do it! The biggest barrier in life is yourself, and I have learned that from many different occasions in my life. And wherever we are in life, that’s okay. But really, how much easier would life be if we just had the courage to ask the questions that we fear the most? Perhaps many of us would then be with the person we have been dreaming about for years, living in the mountains away from all the stress of the world, or maybe we would still be right where we are. This quote, man what a beautiful quote am I right? It seems as though most of the quotes I post are little keys of life like this one above, things that are problematic in everyone’s every day lives. Okay, let me just start this post by saying Just Friends by Billy Taylor was so freaking cute! I zoomed through this book in two days, it was just one of those stories that you needed to know what happened, ya feel? Anyways, this book brought such an emotional rollercoaster into my life, but I am thankful for every word that I read, including the quote I will be discussing below! “Life would be so much easier if we had the courage to ask the questions we fear the most.”
